Xbox is going to make me hurt somebody!

My problem is that we (my husband and I ) do not own an Xbox, so his brother is very kind enough to share. However, my brother in-law is the type of person that once he hits the door, he talks non-stop. He doesn't pick up on any social cues that it may be time to go home...you know the yawn and saying hey I'm sleepy I'm going to bed. I mean we can literally fall asleep on him and he will still talk/ hang around.

Now, let me clarify (cause this is where my man often gets confused) I adore my brother in-law. I think he is a very generous, sweet and kind person. Really, he is a lot of fun. But, I only want to have soo much fun. Lately, he has been coming over to my house at least 3-4 times a week- Sometimes, he even stays over night.

I have tried to explain to the man that I married, that it's awesome that his brother comes over but it doesn't have to be soo often. What my dear man doesn't get is that when a woman gets home from work, there are certain rituals that need to happen for her to completely relax, and sometimes that can't happen when you have company. Especially male company.

Oh guys, I'm sorry I didn't tell you the ritual. Here it is, first we put our keys away and then strip of all binding undergarments (bras), wash faces, use the restroom (with the door open) and put on our frumpy food/paint splattered clothes.

Now a real host or southern lady doesn't really let her girls flop around when there is company. Especially, us girls with breasts larger than a B cup. And, using the bathroom with the door open is still taboo.

Ladies do you understand? Or maybe it's only me.

Not only does his coming over soo often hinder my afternoon comfort, but when they play Xbox they want to play on the flat screen....well that leaves me without a telly to watch. And, that shit will not fly with me.

I am at my wits end and not sure what to do. I have already cussed them both out,but that still hasn't helped.

Help me!!!!!!!! No I should say, save my brother in-law and husband, cause I am about to really flip out on these fools.

5K!!!!!!!!!

It's official...I have signed up for a 5k race this weekend!!!!! Luckily, I get to share this experience with one of my dearest friends. Which is great, cause I have her to help me through this. Since I have never ever done anything like this before,I am getting really pumped.....and scared.

This race is a nice warm-up to the Mini I am going to do in April. Just saying that trips me out. Sometimes I get freaked out when I think about the Mini. Ack! just saying it in this post gives me butterflies.

However, I have realized I am not going to be able to run the whole thing. But I will try hard to do so. Nonetheless, I am going to complete the race on my feet or hands/knees. Of course by the time I make it to the finish line with all the cameras, I will stand up. I don't want pictures of me licking the pavement posted all around. Man, that would be embarrassing. And, if that happens I am not telling any of you all that it happened.

In fact, I will lie and not feel ashamed. Yeah, that's right I will fib just to save face.

Well until then....take care
