Things that I lost in a Virus.

A few Saturdays ago, I contracted a virus. Not a human virus, but one that grabs hold of your precious computer and makes it sick. I am almost starting to think those are worse than some of the human virus's. Note that I said some.

Did I mention that I am not computer literate. I can writhe an email, paper or search the net. And, that is about all. So it's kind of funny that I get this darn bug when my tech support was out camping.

All the while, I am trying to figure out how to fix it. Except the whole time making it worse! Still not sure why I thought I could fix the computer. Well needless to say, when the Geek Squad returned home that Sunday he worked on this it until Monday night. That's when he broke the news to me. All of it had to go.

Yes, all of it!

Oh my heart sank (and still is). I just didn't comprehend how much important/memorable items I had stored on this darn thing. Well not until, I went searching for files (i.e., resumes, cover letters, family photos). Needless to say, losing the family photos hurt the most.

Wish I would have put those pictures on a disk...oh I mean a CD. See I am still stuck in word processor days.

One good thing is, my computer runs like it did when I got it 3 years ago. Too bad, it's still has the same missing "K" tab. Kind of funny what you get use to.

The Always Truthful,
